Girls are human,
so is body hair

For something as unimportant as body hair, it’s amazing how much attention women at Swarthmore attract when they refuse to shave. I remember noticing last year during orientation how many women refrained from shaving and whispering comments to similarly stunned frosh.

Eventually we all got used to the strange idea, and I hadn’t thought about it until I was reminiscing about what orientation had been like last year. Why was it such a big deal?

I remember in middle school when kids first began growing hair on their bodies. Hair became a sign of manliness for boys; we were growing up, and were proud to display our newly grown prizes whenever possible. At the same time, girls didn’t seem to have any hair except on their heads, where they had quite a bit. That was one of the few differences between us at the time. I suppose the few times I did see girls with hair on their bodies I associated it with masculinity.

I am a girl 23 y-o and and I don't shave may armpits. Though many american people think french girls are hairy, it is NOT true nowadays (it was, 20 years ago) and it's not always easy to unshave... Your site is GREAT GO ON !!!

We have been married for 10 years. When we first got toghter Roy asked me to grow hair under my arms. I thought he was crazy. I did and found out not only the hair turned him on but the smell did too. To our suprise the smell gets stronger when we make love. He had girlfriends before me and he said their smell did nothing for him, but my smell he really loves. I too love his smell. Which lead us to believe that there is alot to the chemistry. If more people trusted their senses instead of their minds they may find their perfect mate. We to are animals in our own way. If the people in this world would resort back to the basic. Quit judging people and trust their instincs and senses this may be a better place to live.

i think its the most awsome point of indivdualism for a girl not to shave. of the two girls i know who dont regularly shave they are some of the coolest girls ive met, so yea i think hairy armpits are hot, cause it shows the girl is not a conformist.
